Position Objective: To maximize efficient sign production, quality control and organization of our print shop department.
Major Duties:
• The planning and completion of production work flow, with great focus on time and cost savings.
• Responsible for production output with sign printing, sign mounting, and shipping while meeting deadlines.
• Inventory control of production materials as it applies to sign printing.
• Maintenance of production equipment and overall condition of the printing facility. Familiarity with Arizona Digital printers preffered/a bonus.
• Ability to provide print solutions by sub-contracting our printing needs that we are incapable of producing in house.
• Supervising/scheduling of tasks and duties to other seasonal or part-time production staff.
• Implements quality and assurance standards in departments. (sign printing, mounting, and shipping)
Minor Duties:
• Researching and testing of new production materials and processes.
• Providing support and working with Manager of Operations to obtain department and company goals.
• General preventive maintenance of printers.
• Mounting and shipment of signs.
Competencies required:
• Planning and organizational skills required to handle production volumes.
• Ability to focus and prioritize to meet very strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of digital printing hardware/peripherals.
• Knowledge of popular printing applications/software.
• Ability to work independently or part as a team.
• Detailed and quality oriented.
• Innovative/creative, able to provide ideas and solutions.
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
