This painting is by W.T. Wood (1877-1954 ), a respected Canadian artist and friend of the Group of Seven whose work has sold for hundreds of dollars at several online art auction sites. If you have ever been to the backwoods of slightly northern Canada, you have seen something resembling this sight before. If you are obligated to stay in a city, this seemingly original painting, though that seems unlikely, is in a traditional, slightly imperfect, frame that might transport you to some place that you might feel more free. The suggested price is $150. (Dimensions: 13” x 16”)
(Personal Note on my suggested price: I sure don’t know how much the item offered might be worth to you or any official appraiser, but it reflects what it is worth to me if I were to part with it. The descriptions match my best, honest and, undoubtedly, imperfect, unprofessional efforts. All the best to all of you.)
