From 1983, here is a rare Beatles poster for Toronto's CKFM 99.9. If you love the Beatles and want a piece of the Fab Four's pop culture legacy, this is an odd and visually stimulating inclusion. For weeks in 1983 this radio station played hours of Beatles music from September to December and this poster advertised that fact with photos of pop culture items long-forgotten and seldom, if ever, to be seen again. It was "CKFM Presents Ringo's Yellow Submarine"...whatever that might have meant in all of its musical glory. This "Design and Finished Art" by McCann Erikson Advertising is mounted on a very cheap frame to preserve the poster's integrity. This perfect poster should be re-framed. Obviously, it is rather rare. The suggested price is $100. (Dimensions: 33” X 19”)
(Personal Note on my suggested price: I sure don’t know how much the item offered might be worth to you or any official appraiser, but it reflects what it is worth to me if I were to part with it. The descriptions match my best, honest and, undoubtedly, imperfect, unprofessional efforts. All the best to all of you.)
