Tall 1986 ALAN Record “586” built with an all-aluminum 24.5 inch ( 62cm ) “Classic” frame to suit a rider from 5’11” to about 6’ 3”. It is a large bike but quite light with the frame and all drive components made of aluminum.
This ALAN bicycle was made in Saccolongo, Italy. ALAN was founded in 1972 by Falconi Lodovico, an engineer who had worked for bicycle manufacturer Torpado. ALAN was the first company to introduce an all aluminium bicycle frame made from aerospace grade aluminum.
