The AR100 was a solid-body electric guitar from Ibanez's Artist series, first introduced in 1979 and built in Japan by FujiGen.

It features an arched flame maple top over a double-cutaway mahogany body, paired with a set-in three-piece maple neck. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard includes binding and pearloid dot inlays. Hardware includes dual humbuckers with individual volume and tone controls, a Gibraltar-style Tune-O-Matic bridge, Quik Change tailpiece with a decorative scalloped plate, rubberized Sure Grip knobs (one rubber ring is missing), and VelveTune tuners.

Given the choice between a vintage Ibanez and almost any guitar built since then, the Ibanez will stand up to the best of them. They really were at the top of their game and built some masterful guitars that today can be bought without putting a big dent in your pocketbook. This well played Artist is a great example and plays like a dream. The action is nice and low and there's plenty of fret life left so it will continue to serve for years to come. These obviously owe a design debt to Gibson's Les Paul . The maple top has some nice subtle flame in it and the cherry burst isn't too bright, it's like the best slightly faded LP tops. There's an above average amount of wear in the paint for its age but there are no breaks or repairs. The wear is pretty indicative that It's a really good one. I have a slight surplus of guitars of this style or i would never be selling it.

Absolutely roached out , fully stickered hardshell case included OHSC included.
