As we continue to grow, we are seeking a professional and detail-driven Accountant to join our finance team.
Position Overview:
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting and compliance processes, and assisting in the ongoing development of our financial infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
-Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
-Process accounts payable and receivable
-Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations
-Assist with budgeting and forecasting
-Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards (ASPE/IFRS)
-Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
-Support the implementation of financial controls and process improvements
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
-Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP (ASPE or IFRS)
-Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
-CPA designation (completed or in progress) is preferred
-Experience with HST/GST filings is an asset
