C. Boone - Famous Paris Scene Painting - $140

This original and large work of art is by a talented artist: C. Boone. Possibly American. The painting was executed in the Impressionistic style with loose brush strokes. The image is of a well- known street, Quai de la Tournelle, in central Paris. The street is famous for its booksellers of Paris. They sell old and second-hand books, selling in boxes installed on a large part of the quays of the Seine. On the left bank – from Quai de la Tournelle to Quai Voltaire; on the right bank – from Pont Marie to Quai François Mitterrand. More than 200 booksellers manage nearly 900 boxes. They offer nearly 300,000 books, as well as a large number of prints, magazines, collector's cards, etc.
