Original Canadian Brass Paperweight, marked on the base, 'The A.E. Go rdon Lu mber Co. Ltd., Toronto. Can., We Serve, We Serve' with a figural Evergreen Tree in the centre, great patina, c1927, 2 1/2” H x 1 3/4” diameter, with some wear, commiserate with its age.
This paperweight was probably to commemorate when it changed its name from 'The A.E. Go rdon Lu mber Co. . to 'The A.E. Go rdon Lu mber Co. Ltd., c1927.
