Original Sepia Cabinet Portrait Photograph of a Young Man with late 19th Century suit with Handkerchief in pocket, Marked on verso in graphite, 'Rochester 5-16-88, & stamped in purple, 'From J.F. Burkard, Druggist, 208 South Ave., Rochester, N.Y.,' with the photographer's mark, stamped in gold, 'Godfreys, 146 E. Main St., Rochester N.Y.', 1888, 6 1/2' x 4 1/4”, with right border corner surface loss.
In the 1889 Rochester City Directory is listed, 'John F. Burkard, druggist, 208 South ave, bds. 9 Burkard place'.
