RARE CANADIAN ORIGINAL TORONTO BICYCLE TI RES POSTER, 1920 - $1,100 (Jarvis Street & Front Street E., Toronto, Ontario)

ORIGINAL RARE CANADIAN ADVERTISING LITHOGRAPH POSTER, DU NLOP BICYCLE TI RES, TORONTO, 7 Ads depicting Men, & Woman on Bicycles, etc., for Bicycle Stores Only, 1920, 38 1/8” x 24.95," with bottom corner crease, right bottom border puncture tear approximately 1/4", & folds.
This is the only known poster to exist.
This poster marked the occasion when the new Toronto D. Factory expansion was built in the same year, 1920, & never made for the general public, hence its rarity.
This was a marketing campaign to help Bicycle dealers, advertising in newspapers with these D. ads. As noted in the poster, the “bombardment” of ads, selected from the 7 here, were put in newspapers across the country, in May (& at least one in June) 1920, including, Toronto, Ottawa, & Windsor, Ontario, Vancouver, B.C., Regina, SK, Calgary & Edmonton, AB,, & Montreal, P.Q..
It's marked at the top in red, 'D Again Aids Bicycle Dealers in a Substantial Way,' and in all the scenes, 'D. T. & R. G, Co., Limited, Head Office and Factories: Toronto, Branches in the Leading Cities,' and their trademark logo.
