Very Rare Original Canadian, Pre-Confederation Newspaper, 'Evening Leader, Vol. 1, No. 302, 4 pgs., Price One Cent, Toronto, Dated, Monday, July 22nd, 1861, 17 1/2” x 12”, with wear including upper left border 3/4” tear, & small left border tears, right edge wear, creases, & light staining.
Contents include articles: Canada vs. The States as a Home for Emigrants; Registration of Voters; The Lake Trade & Navigation Laws; Provincial Items; Police Court; Queen's Park; Letters to the Editor; Grand Trunk Railway; The American Civil War; Fires This Morning.
