Rare, Original Canadian 'The Ingersoll Chronicle' Newspaper, with Illustrations, 'Vol. XVIII, No. 6, Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada, Whole No. 890', 4 pgs., 'Thursday Evening, September 15, 1870', 12” x 9 3/4”, with wear including foxing, & border chips.
It's marked on front, upper left hand side, 'The Ingersoll Chronicle, is published on Thursday Evenings, at the Office, New Masonic Hall Building, Thames St., Over Mr. Vance's Bakery, by J.S. Gurnett'.
Advertisements included, G.W. Railway of Canada; Holmes & Gillespie; W. Watson (Dry Goods, Millinery); Merchants' Bank of Canada; C.P. Hall Spectacles and Eye Glasses; W. & N. Morrison Saddle & Harness Makers; J. Campbell – Watches and Jewellery, Masonic Goods; Ledgers, Day Books and Journals, etc.
