Vintage 1950s 1960s English Lord Nelson Pottery “Bermuda: Lidded Tureen
Excellent Condition - Really Excellent for its age!
Think how good this would look with teak furniture or on a teak dining table.
Pattern: Bermuda
This dish was likely made around 1956 as the crown in the centre of their back stamp was added to some of their marks in 1956. Thus, you could conclude this gorgeous tureen is about 69 years old.
Lord Nelson Pottery was a trade name used by Elijah Cotton Ltd. The original business was founded in 1758. Elijah Cotton opened a new factory 'Nelson Pottery' in 1886 and also took over 'The Victoria Works' - both in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
