Mid 1800s antique porcelain stove ("Kachelofen" in German) in perfect condition. No chips, cracks, or damage. The whole unit SEPARATES TO 7 UNITS for very easy transportation.

I was assured by a local Kachelofen-maker (originally from Germany) that this exact piece CAN BE INSTALLED to burn wood and CERTIFIED. Same design of different hue is featured installed in Vogue magazine (see magazine page photo).

Used throughout Europe, porcelain stoves are designed for maximum fuel efficiency, having been designed (mostly 16th to 18th centuries) when forests were dwindling.
