2 Bowl set: by SC Richard / Ginori. Circa late 1800-s.
Nineteenth Century Authentic Italian Ceramic Bowls!
Dimensions of each Bowl: D-13cm across, D=6cm pedestal base, H-8cm deep.
Asking $20 each bowl, or $35 for both.
Made by S.C. Richard (Società Ceramica by Richard).
It is possible to date these antique pieces back to the period between 1873 and 1896. Because the Società Ceramica Richard was founded in Milan in 1873, and merged with Ginori in 1896 - and became SC Richard/Ginory - Italy’s most famous productive and prestigious names in ceramics.
Those antique bowls in particular has the S.C. Richard back stamp of a Gryphon with the Milanese flag and shield (without any reference to Ginori and therefore dating it pre-1896).
