12/7-12/10: Earn money driving boats in 2020 (Toronto Downtown)

Toronto marine tourism is growing with many private boat owners offering 'experiences' through websites like GetMyBoat and AirBnB.

However there is a shortage of qualified boat drivers available to operate the trips in the GTA.

Get ready for a sweet 2020 summer hustle by becoming a Transport Canada qualified small vessel professional.

Two weekends only, December 7-8 & 14-15, 2019.

Only chance to complete in downtown Toronto.

Includes: Small Vessel Operator Proficiency & MedA3.

Sign up now to reserve your spot and be first in line to join the course.

Provided by the Georgian Centre for Marine Training and Research, the course will run over two weekends on Dec 7/8 and Dec 14/15 at a venue TBD in downtown Toronto. Your certification is issued on the spot at the completion of the course and you'll be ready to roll as a professional boat driver next Summer.

This course includes two qualifications and has been tailored to meet the training needs of the small vessel master. There is no practical, on-water component of the course.

There are few, if any, other opportunities to take these courses in downtown Toronto. Recognizing the absence of convenient options for residents close to downtown, we're organizing for this course to be provided for a small private class over two weekends in the boating off-season on a first-come first-serve basis. There is a maximum class size of 20.
