Having studied painting & photography, the artist lives & works in rural Vermont. Inspired by Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant's English home, 'Charleston' that was filled with art in its simplicity and urgency, & having a daughter ("Children make art without a critical filter."), pushed her to work. Related to this work, she wrote, "The imaginary is never far away. I'll keep chasing that on my bike."
