VERY RARE, ALL ORIGINAL ART DEO BRIDGE LAMP, c1920's (58 1/2"H; shade: 13 1/2" H with fringe x 13" L x 7" W), with some glass beaded losses in very good condition. The shade is made from linen, 'oil treated', covered in tiny multicoloured glass beads, giving off a gentle sparkling luminscent look when lit. It depicts intricate beautiful scenes of a Chinese pagoda, flowering trees, & a red Robin making it enjoyable from all angles.The shade is further enhanced by the blue, green, amber glass beaded & silk fringe. The original patinated metal base, & bridge arm is joined by a wooden stem painted in its original colours of green, red & gold. This is a very rare shade, & the fact base and shade are still together. A stunning, unique decorative feature to any home!
