For sale is a delightful copper-body teapot or waterpot with a silver-colour metal spout, feet and knob on the lid. The spout is serpent design. The knob and feet have carved designs. The copper handle is artfully woven with vinyl twine. (please see close-up pictures). The teapot holds 2 cups.
This teapot is from approx. 1980 or earlier.
The bottom of the teapot is hallmarked / imprinted “Venetian Copper 3243” (the maker and model number).
The measurements are: 7.5” (19cm) High to the top of the handle; 6” (15 cm) Diameter in the body, not including the spout; and 8” (20cm) total width including the spout.
CONDITION: Vintage; has been used, with a dent or two from usage but nevertheless used as carefully as possible, and cared for. It has a wonderful naturally aged vintage patina.
PICKUP LOCATION: In Thornhill near Bathurst Street & Steeles Ave. West. Condo lobby pickup by appointment.
