Crombie, Publisher & Editor, May, 1972, 8 3/4” x 5 3/4”, in very good condition, with light middle crease.
It opened on June 1, 1972 in Toronto, with a legendary cast, that included Gilda Radner, Canadians Martin Short, Eugene Levy, & Victor Garber.
Included are biographies of the cast, producers, etc.. Also included are Toronto advertisements like Muir Park Hotel, Confucius or Bamboo Room (Chinese restaurant), Three Small Rooms, Windsor Arms Hotel, bleakley labbett Ltd., Interior Design, O'Keefe Centre Subscription Series 1972-73, etc.

Original 'Souvenir Programme', Titled, 'Godspell, A Musical Adaptation of The Gospel According to St. Matthew', Black & White with Red Illustrations, written by Ed Gifford and Ellen Chenoweth, 24 pgs., E.M.T. Corporation Publishing Co., Inc., 1971, 11” x 8 1/2”, in very good condition, with some border toning on covers.
Godspell opened on May 17, 1971 at the tiny Cherry Lane Theatre in New York's Greenwich Village. After Stephen Schwartz was brought on board, & composed its score, that included the iconic song, Aquarius, it opened on August 10, 1971 at the Promenade Theatre. It was awarded the Dineen Award from the National Threatre Arts conference as the outstanding theatrical production of the year.
