Main Job Duties
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty Armenian dishes, including dips, flatbreads, grilled meats, stews, and seafood items.
• Follow traditional Armenian recipes and maintain authenticity, flavour, and presentation standards.
• Ensure all items are prepared from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Oversee daily food preparation (mise en place), manage inventory, and minimize food waste.
• Operate grills, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistency in portioning, taste, and presentation for all dishes.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food preparation areas according to food safety regulations.
• Assist in receiving and storing supplies, checking for freshness and quality.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours.
• Adhere to restaurant policies, food safety standards, and health regulations.
