Job Description
We are looking for a holistic nutritionist with professional cooking experience or a holistic chef/experienced cook with strong nutrition knowledge to prepare food in clients’ private homes on a weekly basis. You’ll be cooking meals that support a wide range of health needs and goals — from managing chronic conditions to navigating food sensitivities, allergies, or specialty diets.

We specialize in gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, and allergy-friendly cooking, and we personalize menus for every client. Recipes and menu plans are provided, so you’ll always know exactly what to prepare — while still bringing your care, skill, and creativity to each dish.

Location
We are currently looking for someone to cook for clients in Toronto on Mondays and Tuesdays (potentially Wednesdays can work too). Exact locations will be shared with applicants.
Duties
-Prepare and cook customized meals according to the client’s dietary preferences and nutritional needs (menus and recipes will be provided for you to follow)
-Potentially buy groceries for some clients (shopping time is paid and grocery bill is reimbursed)
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health regulations
-Pack up prepared food in storage containers and clean the kitchen before leaving
Experience
-minimum 1 year of professional experience cooking and preparing food based on holistic nutrition principles (ie restaurant experience, cooking for clients or something comparable)
-trained/certified as a nutritionist (or comparable training)
-experience preparing plant based as well as healthy omnivore meals (such as paleo)
-have professional culinary training OR experience working in restaurants (or comparable experience working with private clients)
-experience adjusting seasoning to ensure everything tastes delicious
-passionate about cooking and making healthy, tasty food
-independent and good team player
-ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
-efficient with time in the kitchen and able to multitask different recipes at the same time
-punctual and reliably on time for work
-trustworthy– friendly– professional
-valid Food Handlers Certificate
-Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and food handling regulations
