Hello, I would like to acquire an inexpensive North American made, older model 5 hp chaindrive garden roto tiller to restore & use for Spring tilling, so we're likely talking about one the engine of which isn't running or doesn't run well.
Front or mid tine model doesn't matter so long as the chaincase is in good working order b/c parts for most older models are no longer sold or are prohibitively expensive.
Examples of front tine models are in photos 1 to 5 and mid tine in photos 6 to 10.
Would prefer, of course, that the tiller has the original Briggs & Stratton on it, that the engine block (incl rod) is undamaged, and that it & the frame has all its parts.
Photos of your machine will be required please.
Willing to pick up in the GTA and pay $50 - not a whole lot, yes, but much more than the $5-6 per 100 lbs of mixed material one's paid at a scrap yard. Thx
