Goldenrod is a beautiful perennial which has a long bloom time from late summer to mid fall.It does best in full sun to part shade. It is a pollinator magnet. It flourishes in average soil, is drought tolerant, deer resistant, safe for dogs, and makes a great cut flower.
Contrary to common belief, goldenrod pollen does not contribute to hay fever or allergy symptoms because it is too sticky to go airborne. The offender is ragweed, which blooms around the same time.
If interested. you will need to bring plastic grocery or produce bags or other containers and dig your own clumps of these perennial plants and fill the holes you make. I provide digging tools, soil, plant tags and planting instructions.
