Common sorrel has been cultivated for centuries. The leaves are edible when young but toughen with age; they may be puréed in soups and sauces or added to salad.The leaves, which have a lemony favour are high in vitamin C.
Bring plastic grocery or produce bags or other containers for your plants, when dug from my private garden.
