Rover dog sitters come from a variety of backgrounds and industries, including customer service, sales, retail, restaurant industry roles (including barista, bartender, server, waiter/waitress, restaurant host, hostess, bus or busboy), human resources, messenger, bike messenger, transportation worker, courier, delivery driver, finance, marketing, data entry, food runner, administrative assistant, account manager, contract worker, cleaner, baby sitters, babysitter, caregiver, teacher, education, and intern -- but no previous experience in these industries is necessary. If you want to offer daycare or dog walking, weekday availability is key. People who are looking for dog walking jobs, pet sitting jobs, animal care jobs, house sitting jobs, dog sitting jobs, dog jobs, pet sitter jobs, pet care jobs, want to become a dog walker, or are interested in how to become a dog sitter, dog walker or dog daycare provider would make a great fit for Rover. You can also cat sit on Rover. Important Note: Each pet sitter and dog walker profile is reviewed by Rover.com. Incomplete or low-quality profiles will not be accepted. All profiles must have several photos of yourself, your home/apartment, your pet(s), at least one testimonial from friends/family, and will be subject to a background check. We suggest at least a three-month commitment, but you're welcome to list your services as long as you like.
