Paralegal Services: Require Small Claims Court Help? (Greater Toronto Area)

license info: Law Society of Ontario

Cobb Legal is a paralegal advocacy service provider, based out of Toronto, Ontario.

Tim J. Cobb is a licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (formerly Law Society of Upper Canada), and he is a member of the Ontario Paralegal Association. Tim represents clients with respect to issues heard at the Small Claims Court.

The Small Claims Court is a branch of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where claimants seek remedy for disputes relating to money, or the repossession of personal property, and where the value of that money or property is $25,000.00 or less.

It should be noted that the Small Claims Court is not an area of law; it is merely the venue by which claims are heard for various claims, subject to proper jurisdiction, including breach of contract, non-payment of an invoice or rent, trespass to chattels (personal property), and other civil wrongdoing.

If you find yourself in a position of needing to sue someone, for remedy in a contract dispute, or for the return of property, or other monetary damages for another civil wrong, or defending against a lawsuit, Cobb Legal can assist you. Should you find yourself in a Small Claims dispute, please contact Cobb Legal at 647-932-COBB (2622).

Cobb Legal is proud to serve clients in the Greater Toronto Area, including Scarborough, East York, North York, Etobicoke, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Markham, Barrie, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa.
