Up for sale is a 1990's ART Power Plant guitar preamp. The Power Plant is 2-channel solid-state preamp (and was supposedly where the circuit for the original Tech 21 SansAmp was taken from). The first channel mimics a Fender clean amp while the second channel mimics a Marshall stack. This preamp has a uniquely warm tone for a solid-state circuit and it's a great platform for pedals!
This preamp is in excellent condition and has had the original 3-prong replaced with a heavy duty jack. Included is a printed copy of the User Manual plus a 1-page review from the October 1990 issue of Guitar World magazine (the review is overly positive with quotes like "...a solid-state preamp that thinks it's a tube amp." and "The EQ is versatile, warm and natural. The tone has all the character of tubes, without the hassle.")
I can meet up at almost any TTC station or it's available for pickup in the lobby of my condo near Bloor and Islington. Thanks for looking!
