These were made in the early 1980's at the reputable Matsumoku factory in Japan. This one comes in a rather rare matte black finish with matching painted neck and headstock. It's a very unique design and guaranteed to turn heads.
It features an angular, contoured mahogany body with matte black finish and double cutaway design, a painted maple neck with "C" shaped profile, a deep rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, original humbucker neck and single-coil bridge pickups, original hi-fi style volume and tone control knobs with a 3-way pickup selector, a blackened brass string through-body bridge, bullet style truss rod nut, and blackened chrome quest tuning machines.
Excellent condition for its age. Some very minor wear, to be expected with a vintage instrument. Comes included with a carrying case, guitar pics, and polish cloth.
