Sterling by Musicman JP100 John Petrucci Signature
This is one hell of a guitar for the money. From fretwire to finish, the key word here is 'smooth'. There's nothing to slow you down and the overall impression is of an axe that laps up the precise technique that Petrucci's style demands.
The JP100 John Petrucci Signature is based on the "Ball Family Reserve" JP6 with a slightly larger basswood body. It has a scooped forearm contour and is capped with a figured, quilted maple top.
The maple neck with rosewood fretboard and 24 medium-jumbo frets has a slightly asymmetrical back carve with a flatter bass side to naturally fit the curve of your hand.
Other features include a Sterling Modern Trem bridge, quality locking tuning machines, and two Sterling HI-output humbuckers with Petrucci dome control knobs and diagonally angled 3-way pickup switch for easier access.
Guitar has been extremely well looked after and is in very near to new condition with no real notable signs of use. Guitar comes with a case and original trem arm. Original price was just over $1100, I'm looking for $800.
