Lots of high end features: it is based on a fast digic processor, functions of buttons and dials can be reprogrammed, fast 1.8 lens, full manual control, lots of modes, raw format available for experienced users, very good 3-stop image stabilization (I was able to take good hand-held pics up to 0.5sec exposure).
This is the last Canon truly pocketable premium camera. It has bigger sensor and hence better image quality than most compact cameras. Since then Canon, Sony and others switched to 20MP premium format G7X RX100 and the like.
Not only those cameras are significantly more expensive, they are also significantly bigger in size and weight, and no longer pocketable size.
There are some small screen cracks (this is how I originally bought it, and never had any issues with it), camera is 100% functional. Screen, all buttons, all functions work fine. Buyer will be able to fully test the camera on the spot before paying, for as long as necessary to confirm it is as described.
Comes with charger, strap, camera case, and two batteries - $260 firm.
