Selling my Sony DSR-45 DVCAM desktop VTR. NTSC model. I used it to digitize roughly 40 DVCAM (full size) and miniDV tapes over the past year. The tapes were old and giving errors on my camera, but the error correction on the deck is really good, so I was able to copy all of them without errors.

The deck is of course old and shows cosmetic signs of use as you’d expect, but mechanically it works very well. Playback, FF/RW, the built-in LCD - all good.

Included:
- Sony DSR-45 deck, power cable
- FireWire (i.Link) cable

Bonus: I can provide a custom Python app with a simple GUI for controlling capture from the deck for Linux and Mac that I wrote for the project. If you’re interested, happy to show you the ropes too.

Pickup in North York, but we can arrange another spot too.
