Awesome Kensington Market place...Super location - Close to all of downtown. One block from Streetcar line @ Spadina and Baldwin and two or three blocks from streetcar line at College and Spadina. Super convenient location.
The place is a walk-up on the top floor (3rd) of a small quiet apartment building above some shops.
The apartment is huge for DT Toronto: Two Bedrooms, one full-bathroom, in-apartment washer and dryer, open concept fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table (but alas no dishwasher), dining room area with full sized table, living room area and large non-street facing balcony.
Clean building with Kensington Market character (Not a fancy new condo by any means).
Kensington Market life is a vibe on to itself –the area has been rapidity gentrifying these last few years but remains artsy and a tad gritty.
Kensington Market isn’t for everyone: But if it is for you then this place may be ideal
The available roommate bedroom is approximately 10' by 13' with 4 walls, a door, a floor, a ceiling, a big window, blinds, a ceiling fan, and a reach-in double closet. It is furnished with a queen size bed, a dresser, and some shelves. Pictures of bedroom posted show two possible arrangements of furniture
A desk and/or desk area can be provided - if you would like one
All utilities, heat, air conditioning, high speed WIFI - all included.
I just ask that Roommate be Hydro aware and not run up electric bill unnecessarily.
Also included - Fully furnished + (bedding and towels are available if you wish).
But that is not all - there is also monthly apartment cleaning service ( van include your bedroom if you like)
Nice cozy environment – nicely appointed apartment (but not fancy - art filled and book filled - unique place. Great location. Good vibes.

No partying / non-partier, Friendly, communicative, responsible, and respectful - all key.
Prefer that you don't work full-time at home but it all depends.

References, proof of income/ ability to pay each month required. Also first and last month rent is needed to move in as is standard. Last month rent gets the place held for you and Ad deleted. First months rent gets you keys on move in day.
Rent will be pro-rated if you wish to move in earlier than Sep 1st but to get keys and move in earlier than Sept 1st you will need to pay the pro-rated amount plus full amount for September
