I am renting a 1 bedroom with large windows, lots of light, a walk-in closet and a full bathroom in my newly renovated 850 square foot condo. The room will be available on January 1st.
The price is $1175/month and includes all utilities and wifi. You will have shared access to a fully furnished living room, large screened TV, Netflix, fully stocked kitchen, large outdoor patio, laundry machine/dryer, gym and party room. The building is next to a beautiful park and pool, 2 mins from the Dundas and College streetcars, 15 min walk to downtown, 10 mins away from the Distillery.
As you can see from the pictures, I’ve put a lot of love into my home. I am looking for a roommate who I feel 100% comfortable around and can trust to take excellent care of my place. My ideal roommate would be:
- One person (no couples – sorry!)
- A working professional or grad student in their mid to late 20s or 30s
- Open-minded and considerate
- Clean but not a neat freak
- LGBT friendly
- A non-smoker
- No pets
- Not moving with a lot of furniture (common areas are already fully furnished and I don’t have a storage locker)
I am very comfortable living with others; I get along best with smart, sarcastic types who are fun, thoughtful and easy-going. I enjoy living with someone I can share a dinner or coffee with from time to time; I don’t enjoy living with someone who feels like a stranger or a ghost.
