Your COZY Oasis in the city. The cottage in the city!
Authentic Toronto flavor in a charming, pristine, eclectic flat;

Private bedroom in ultra clean main floor flat - fully furnished with all linens, antiques and charm. Best suits an individual who is up and out in the morning and keeps it low-key on the home front. This is definitely not a party house.

Are you *self-sufficient, *pro-active, *considerate of others, *optimistic and maybe a bit goofy ? Great!!

Suitable for a short rental. Relax in the tranquility of the garden. Cook a light meal or snack to get grounded after a challenging day and then settle in or dress up for a posh night out or a bongo session in the park.

Privacy is a joint effort to be respected but its always fun to share occasional meals or gab over a glass of wine. Overnight guests are discouraged.

"Had a wonderful time here in Symington Ave. The room was perfect, the flat always clean and it's a very nice neighborhood. But first of all, It was a fun time because of Janice. We had a lot of good talks, funny moments and there was always an open ear to listen to you!"

Silni, from Mumbai said:
"I am having a wonderful time here. She is very welcoming and it feels like home.
The house is always clean and well organized and come in handy with very comfortable commute options.
I am really gonna miss our laughs and meals together and I'm surely fallen in love with pepper(cat). I am sure you too are going to have an amazing time here."

Sarah, from Cambridge said:
"Thank you for your hospitality during my time with you, you really made it feel like a home for me during the last two months! It was a comfortable and warm place for me to return to at the end of the day and I enjoyed our many conversations when we crossed paths."

Estelle, from Paris said:
"I have lived in this place for over 8 months. This place has been very delightful and Janice has been really charming with me too. She was very patient and understanding ...when I could not speak English. And, she's given some tips to improve my knowledge of English. I cannot describe this place like a place that seems to be borrowed the heaven. But this place and their residents (Janice and her cat) are very welcoming. I will never forget this place that... is dominated and shaped by the joy and the peace."

Aline, from Brazil said:
"I had one of my best times living with Janice and getting to know someone as nice as her in Canada (such a different country in many aspects from Brazil). She was always available to speak with me and we surely had a wonderful time together. She taught me how to cook and helped me a lot with my English skills!"

"Janice is a lovely, kind person to live with. Her house is very warm, clean and indeed eclectic. And there's a garden! If you're a busy student who needs a safe place to call home after a long day at school, this is a good choice."

"I met Janice during my two month stay for a short work experience in Toronto.
As a tenant, the short stay with Janice didn't just provide me with a cozy home to come back to every night, but also allowed me to practice English through daily and friendly conversations.
This was a great opportunity for me to get a first understanding on the local culture, events and accent and I recommend it to anyone who plans to move to the city or visit for a short while without knowing anyone there."
