We have a 1 bedroom with 1 private bathroom bedroom available on the basement level of our lovely townhouse available anytime. This room is ideal for a University of Toronto or George Brown College student OR a young working professional. Commuting from our townhome to U of T takes about 20-25 by bus or about 15-20 minutes by subway. You can also bike it in about 20-25 minutes. Getting to the downtown core takes an extra 10 minutes unless you take the UP Express which could get you there in less than 10 minutes.


This is a month-to-month rental so we are flexible with life changes that may require you to move on to another chapter of your life. The only thing we require is first and last month's rent, during the second month it becomes a monthly payment as well as a small deposit (in case of damages). We are laid back tenants who like to keep the apartment EXTREMELY tidy and neat on a daily basis. Basically this means: clean up after yourself ALWAYS. This way there is no major clean required ever so often. We are borderline OCD here so YOU MUST BE SUPER CLEAN. If you are not a good fit for SUPER CLEAN then please search elsewhere. Everybody does their part here and carries their own weight and if you try to ride on the backs of other tenants here you will be asked to leave.

-1 medium-sized, north facing window (4 x 6 feet)
-Private bathroom
-Feel free to bring your own bed and furniture
 or we can have it furnished


The Rent Situation:

-$1,000 per month
-First and last months rent required upon signing the month-to-month lease
$300 Deposit (usually returned unless there are damages that exceed typical wear and tear).



The Parking Situation:

-Street parking directly available in front of the house, with purchase of city permit
-Free Parking at the Storage Unit Parking lot available as well (unofficial but many residents on our street uses it for themselves or their guests as the parking officials do not monitor the overnight parking as it’s private parking)




Who we are looking for:

-You must be tidy and clean up carefully after yourself in ALL common space areas; your room is your business though (Remember we are seriously Borderline OCD here! No joke!)
-You must have some sense of kitchen organization/sorting (ie., what goes in the recycling, composting and garbage bin)
-You must be mentally stable (not into unwelcome surprises sorry)
-You must be a student, young professional or mature student (ideal age range 30-45)
-You must be clean, friendly and respectful of others
-You must be gay-friendly, comfortable around all races and be pet-friendly (there is one resident cat)
-All smoking can be done outside in the backyard or balcony
-420-friendly atmosphere; but please do not have substance abuse problems (no alcoholics or chronic pot heads sorry, and no chain smokers). Life should be about healthy balances.
-No pets please, as we already have one cat

**We are specific here we are not just looking to fill the room. This is more about finding the right roommate**
