The room's two large, west-facing windows look out over a park, so you'll hear birds outside, not traffic. The room and the roof garden have terrific views. The room contains a bed, desk, chair, bookshelf, closet, lots of shelves, (TV if you want). The dimensions are 8.5 X 10 ft. (2.6 X 3 meters). There is access to hallways from both floors. Besides the building’s gorgeous rooftop garden and ground-floor courtyard, there is a laundry room and (when COVID lockdown ends) two lounges.
I’m looking for a quiet, clean, reliable non-smoker. I prefer to resolve conflicts quickly and amicably. No pets or overnight visitors please. References required. Minimum 8 months. Longer-term stays preferred.
The room (Bedroom 2 on the floor plan) is in a clean, tidy, two-floor suite. You'll share the kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave) and new bathroom with the landlady. Large cabinet over the sink is yours. The building is steps to a supermarket, transit, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. Only a 10-minute walk to two subway lines. Three bus routes and a streetcar a block away. Car parking in garage (extra cost) may be available after COVID lockdown. Free, secure parking for bike in garage.
The rent is a deal for downtown Toronto, because it includes everything you'll need: rent, electricity, heat, CLEANING, sheets and towels, wifi, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils. Room is cooled in hot weather via a portable AC unit. Just bring your laptop, personal things, and clothes. Available May 1, 2021.
