IT Support Technician (Toronto)

compensation: Compensation based on experience $40K-$60K

Position:
We are currently seeking an applicant to fill the role of IT Support Technician. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients throughout the GTA.

We are seeking an individual with experience providing helpdesk support in a Windows network environment. You will work on the HelpDesk as a member of the support team and will perform both remote and onsite support.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and can speak English clearly
- Enjoy solving technical problems and working with end users
- Ability to translate and communicate technical information and issues to non-technical people
- 3yrs of Help desk support experience with Windows
- Strong desktop hardware and software troubleshooting skills
- Experience with troubleshooting, build and deploy of Windows desktop OS
- Experience with Active Directory user account management
- Experience supporting MS Office and other common desktop software
- Experience supporting Office365 suite of collaborative applications
- Experience troubleshooting networking and internet connectivity related issues
- Experience with iphones, androids and related device activations/backups/migrations
- Committed to service excellence

- Cisco, Dell managed switches
- Windows Server
- AD Group policies
- Exchange Server
- VMWare and Hyper-V
- MAC OS support
- Veeam Backup
- Server builds, deployments. migrations
- Server application deployments, upgrades, migrations (MSSQL, Sharepoint, Exchange)
- Exchange migrations to Office365 online
- Server migrations to cloud storage or Azure
- Azure admin
- Project Management
- Linux support and admin
- Cyber Security experience
