Selling a working, 22" front wheel "self propelled" Craftsman 3-One lawnmower with a 6hp Tecumseh Vector engine and a working, battery powered, push button electric starter. The battery is brand new.
Got the machine in nonrunning condition earlier this year when the tendonitis in my left elbow was pretty bad. Arm fine now, so no longer needed.
All it needed was the carburetor cleaned & reassembled properly cos the guy was unfamiliar with Vector ones and the relay mechanism hooked up for the e starter to enage. The battery was dead, so I just pull started her.
Have just purchased a new battery and it starts the engine, though the starter motor will sometimes squeak (from not being used for some time) and the starter gear will occasional fail to mesh properly with the flywheel's gear when it spins down - when that happens, you just release the start button and depress it again. Otherwise, the engine fires up cold with a 1-2 second push of the starter and runs fine.
Has a mulching blade and can also side discharge by opening the side flap. Sorry, didn't get a bag with it.
Asking a firm $140.
* Last call: if not sold within the next 2 weeks, will winterize her and sell for over 200 in April *
