What this does is convert S-Video, composite, and component input to a 480p HDMI signal your TV or capture card can use. The process is lag free and makes a world of difference when playing your old gaming systems on modern displays. I've happily used it with NES, SNES, N64, Playstation 1, and Commodore 64 systems.
