Come visit Toronto's new-this-year Courtyard Farmers' Market at Queen + University Ave. Can't get more downtown than that! (Close to Old City Hall, New City Hall, Osgoode Hall and many other T.O. landmarks.)
It's just off Queen St. W + University Ave. - and also a peach-stone's throw from Osgoode subway station (on the University line).
Every Tuesday (til Oct. 22) from 8am - 2 pm) at 190 Simcoe St., you can meet and buy from local farmers, unique artisans, and eclectic entrepreneurs. Plenty of goodies-on-the-go, too - unique bakers (incl. gourmet Shanny's Shortbread and Smart Kookies' sugar-free keto treats!) and some of the best samosas in town (from Wiff Restaurant).
And Oct. 15 is 'Soup's On! Day, with 3 savoury soups made from farmer-vendors' fresh fall fruits and veggies.
* Mouthwatering fresh produce, flowers, crafts, freshly-prepared local + international foods, crafts and artisanal goods.
* And diverse live music, ranging from guitar and pan pipes to kalimbas and mountain dulcimer!
(On Tues. Oct. 8, it's Tribu Music, Andean traditional-and-contemporary flute sounds. On Tues. Oct. 15, the sound of the dulcimer rings out, with history, mystery and multicultural magic.)
Market is a community initiative of GWL Realty Advisors (Canada Life Campus), and supported by Trebas Institute and Vision Quest Event Management.
