Do you have a habit of worrying about many different things that could go wrong in the future? Does worrying interfere with your life or make it harder to enjoy? Do you worry more than most people would in the same situation? Do people say you worry too much? Do you find it difficult to stop worrying once you start? If you are between the ages of 18-65 you may be eligible to participate in a research study at Ryerson University!

We are investigating the short-term and immediate effects of training more helpful mental habits on those who experience chronic and excessive worry. You will be compensated for your participation, if you are eligible.
Participation will involve four visits to our lab located at Ryerson University (very close to Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto) as well as 7 days of at-home activities that will take place between Visits 1 and 2. The at-home activities will just take 10 minutes to half an hour per day to complete and the 4 study visits will take place over a period of 6 weeks.
